New Beauty Bits

Now that we have entered March, the weather is starting to warm up, trees and flowers are starting to bloom, and my skincare/makeup products are in desperate need of some shaking up! Luckily these three products I’ve recently added to my collection not only look pretty but work great too!

The brand Lumene is completely new to me. I saw this Glow Lumenessence Brightening Beauty Lotion on Target’s website and it had a good price ($15.00), so I decided to check it out. I couldn’t really tell in the photo online, but this lotion is actually a liquid. I was a little skeptical when I opened the box and saw it, but so far I’ve been enjoying it. It has a strong citrusy smell, which I personally love, especially in the morning because it helps wake me up. I apply a small amount of product on a cotton round and then sweep it across my skin. I love it because it feels light on my skin and (so far) hasn’t broken me out. I have a feeling I’ll love this even more in the summer when it’s hot out and my skin is even more oily!

The top swatch is Medieval & the bottom is Mornin’ Sunshine!

I’ve been wanting to try the brand Lipstick Queen ever since I heard Estée Lalonde rave about the brand years ago! Now I’ve finally gotten around to it, and I gotta say, I’m super impressed. I bought a duo pack that featured Mornin’ Sunshine and Medieval. Mornin’ Sunshine is one of their transforming lipsticks, so don’t be alarmed by the bright yellow -though you gotta admit, it looks really cool! When you apply the lipstick, the formula works with the warmth of your lips and PH levels to create your very own coral shade. It’s so much fun to apply! Medieval is berry shade that gives your lips a nice red stain. I love the formula of both these! They are super moisturizing and easy to apply. I also like that they give your lips a hint of color. It makes it perfect for everyday wear! I’m already eyeing some other shades I want to try from this brand, like this one, this one, and this one.
